WOYWW #156

It's that time again and it's also time to congratulate the lovely and wonder-tabulous Julie over at Stamping Ground on the 3rd anniversary of WOYWW! Follow the link if you are lost! :)
So here are my pics for this week:
Some rare wider angle pics...The first one is to the right of where I sit. I sit basically in front of the crafting matte on the desk. The 3 tiered thing is newish and doesn't really have a home yet but I don't get into those drawers too terribly much so its okay there, for now. Then my trash can has a lid sitting partially on it so that my baggies of already cut cardstock pieces, corralled in a container w/a handle, can be at the ready. The container for the cardstock pieces has a handy slot that my purple heat gun fits in, too. :)
So this is to the left of where I sit. Embellies galore! In the little drawers. The big drawers that sit back farther so I can sit close to my desk have more dimensional embellies, then a drawer of ribbon, and the bottom drawer is misc. crafty projects and supplies for them. I made the white boxes on top of the drawers to hold my 4 most common sizes of sticker sheets so thats whats in them.
Another rare tall shot! As you can see my paper is also right next to me and yes, there is a lot. A LOT. :)
Current project beginnings...it'll be a card someday, when it grows up...
And now it feels a little like show-n-tell, but I found this vintage Swingline medium sized stapler at a thrift store for $1.00!!! It's like in mint condition...I mean who wears out a stapler anyways?! :)
Hope everyone is having a great week. A storm front just got here so we'll see how that goes, huh?

WOYWW #155

So this week you get to see my sassy embellishment workspace...and the few I completed! :) I was distracted watching the series finale of House...well, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it...

A few bonus shots of the paper side...my newish 3 tier stand that hasn't found a permanent home yet, but is fully loaded up...
And so what I've been working on in the last week on this side is playing with clay and I moved my buttons over here and I'm trying to find a home for them too.
I think I see a theme...homes are needed. :) Have a great WOYWW crafters! And if you have no idea what that's about go check it out here!

WOYWW # 154

So it's um, not exactly Wednesday anymore but it's not much past it so... :) Lookee! See how clean my workspace is! I've been working on my, only its not mine, first scrapbook. And I have discovered it's a lot less messier than making cards. You can see more desks over at the Stamping Ground.
I couldn't give you guys a close-up of the layouts because the people in the pictures aren't me.
See, how clean my desk is? So, thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment. I heart them! :)
And for those eager to know...I did pass all the classes I had to in order to get my Bachelors degree! I still have an hour to make up this summer and then its, hopefully, off to Graduate school this fall. After I take the GRE and pass it, of course. Have a great week all you sweeties! And even if you're not a sweetie...
;)

Stuck!

I have a kitten stuck in my central heating duct, and by stuck I just mean it won't come out and when we stick our hand down there it hisses and not to be too sissy about it but honestly I'm a little scared of getting kitten claws stuck in my hand so I'm really not trying to be too pushy...anyways, does anyone have any ideas how to get it to come out on its own? Thanks, in advance...

WOYWW #153

So its time to show off my messy desk again! Yep, and I'm not super late this week! At least not stateside...
Julia dear is across the pond running this fabulous linky party, check her out. And whats on my crafting table this week?
No, he's not actually on my desk. This is Weenie Dawg and he is having his picture taken, by my son, in the lightbox I built. Here is a shot of my desk:
I got out all kinds of doo-dads and had a really fine time making this:
It's not for anybody in particular...aside from me, of course! :)
Same thing, I just played around with some fun effects...
Thanks to everyone who stops by and especially to those who leave comments with their WOYWW #'s so I can visit them back...
Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far...I have one nasty final exam left (excel work) and the instructor made it timed! Ugh. Anyways, it looks like I passed my Capstone so my Bachelors degree is pretty much mine for the taking. Yee!

My first ever challenge entry!

I'm really excited to show my first ever Challenge entry! Here it is:

Supplies used:
white cardstock
patterned stock from Laundry Line by My Minds Eye
3 butterfly diecuts from K&Company (I further inked their edges to "finish" them)
leaf and flower patterned ribbon from Ribbon Boutique
glitter ribbon from Ribbon Trends
embossing folder by Sizzix on Tiffany blue cardstock (center)
Big Shot diecut scalloped white circles-Spellbinders, Lacey Circles pattern
punched scalloped sage green circles
glitter glue from Studio G
stamp from OTC, butterfly set

I want to enter this in:
Critter Sketch Challenge ( I used their sketch)
Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge (I used butterflies, punches and ribbons)

So I don't know exactly how this works but I it was fun to work within some limitations...sometimes I just can't get inspired to make anything because all my supplies are so awesome that I think, "Oh, I could do this or this or this or this or..." and so on it goes and nothing gets done! Does that ever happen to anyone else?! :) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

WOYWW #152

So...yah...extremely late here, huh? It's not even Wednesday anymore but I did take pictures so I'm going to post them for your viewing pleasure. But I decided to enter the card I made making the mess I made and so I can't show it yet. But soon. So stay tuned, right? ;)
Left side of my desk...then the right side of my desk...I love a big space so yah it takes two pics to get the whole area in.
Do you see my newest set of stamps? They are precious! I had a credit, yeah!, at my local craft store and a 40% of coupon so they were a for sure score. Next picture is my new twine...had to order it online because it's too much locally. But its really yummy! And I can hardly wait to use it...maybe I already have...
Alrighty, goodnighty! Oh, what was I doing up so late anyways? Uploading my lame-o speech for my Capstone class. I had to upload it in 3 parts and its taken a total of like 350 some odd minutes. Ugh. I hope the instructor accepts it because it was due before midnight but thanks to the incredibly slow uploading to youtube it has taken For Ev Er. And if you don't know what WOYWW is go check it out.
